Prayer of Consecration to the Sacred Heart by Blessed Mary of the Divine Heart

Blessed Mary of the Divine Heart (Münster, 8 September 1863 – 8 June 1899), born Maria Droste zu Vischering, was a German noblewoman and nun of the Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd, best known for having influenced Pope Leo XIII to make the consecration of the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Pope Leo XIII himself called the solemn consecration "the greatest act of my pontificate''. She was Beatified on All Saints Day, 1975 by Pope Paul VI.
The Prayer

My most loving Jesus, I consecrate myself anew today and without reserve to Thy Divine Heart. To Thee, I consecrate my body with all its senses, my soul with all its faculties, and my whole being. To Thee, I consecrate all my thoughts, words, and works; all my sufferings and labours; all my hopes, consolations, and joys; and chiefly I consecrate to Thee my poor heart that I may love but Thee and be consumed as a victim in the flames of Thy love.

Accept, O Jesus, my most loving Spouse, the desire I have to console Thy Divine Heart and to belong to Thee forever. Take possession of me in such a manner that henceforward I may have no other liberty than that of loving Thee, no other life than that of suffering and dying for Thee.

In Thee, I place unbounded confidence, and I hope for the pardon of my sins from Thine infinite mercy. In Thine hands, I lay all my cares and principally that of my eternal salvation. I promise to love Thee and to honour Thee until the last moment of my life, and to propagate as far as I am able, with the help of Thy Divine grace, devotion to Thy most Sacred Heart.

Dispose of me, O Divine Heart of Jesus, according to Thy good pleasure. I desire no other recompense than Thy greater glory and Thine holy love.

Grant me the grace to find in Thy most Sacred Heart my dwelling place; there I desire to pass each day of my life; there I wish to breathe forth my last sigh. Make also my heart Thine abode, the place of Thy repose; that so we may remain intimately united until one day I may praise, love, and possess Thee for all eternity, and sing forever the infinite mercies of Thy most Sacred Heart. Amen.

Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
