Dying Baby Healed in Utero: Miracle Child’s Story Behind Bl. Michael McGivney’s Beatification

I was unaware that Fr McGivney had been beatified in October. May his canonisation speedily follow. Blessed Michael McGivney, pray for us!

This is an amazing miracle! 😲

On this episode of The Catholic Talk Show, Ryan Scheel, Fr. Rich Pagano, and Ryan DellaCrosse speak with “Daniel Schachle, the father of the child whose miraculous healing led to the beatification” of Knights of Columbus founder Fr. Michael McGivney.

Vice Postulator Brian Caulfield of Fr. McGivney’s Cause for Canonization also joins the show.

In this clip, Daniel Schachle tells the amazing story behind how his now 5-year-old child, Mikey, was healed in utero.

Schachle and his wife turned to Fr. Michael M McGivney’s intercession after doctors diagnosed their unborn baby with an unsurvivable condition. The doctors told the mother and father of 12 children that they had two options: deliver a stillborn baby or have an abortion.

This miracle then led to the beatification of Bl. Michael McGivney!
