According to the Archdiocese of Toronto’s Twitter, God Is a “God of Imperfection.”

Lack of proofreading or lack of Supernatural Faith? You make the call.

From Toronto Catholic Witness

By Irenaeus

Well, it looks like someone over in the Media Centre for the Archdiocese of Toronto forgot to proofread their text before sending it in for public dissemination this past Sunday (August 23rd).

This is in direct contradiction with Matthew 5:48, which has Our Blessed Lord stating, "But you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect" (R. Knox Version). Even though the rest of statement is correct, leading with "God of imperfection" was a poor choice of words.

As if the sad news about Fr. Nino Cavoto wasn't evidence enough, this is yet further proof the Archdiocese of Toronto is not as white and conservative as it likes to portray itself.

So it is throughout the rest of Canada.

Elsewhere in Scripture, we read Our Blessed Lord say, "You will know them by the fruit they yield" (Matthew 7:16; R. Knox Version).

Well, the fruit is there for all to see - in Toronto and beyond.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
