On
the Vigil of the Solemnity of Jesus Christ King of the Universe, a
black mass was held in Houston, TX, in which consecrated hosts were
desecrated. As the Satanic Temple grows in numbers, we can expect to see
this more across the country. The primary method of obtaining
consecrated hosts for the purpose of desecration is by pocketing the
Body of Christ after receiving in the hand. In order to protect the
Blessed Sacrament, we urge the USCCB to end the reception of communion
in the hand for the sake of Our Lord.
