KCMike, a commenter, asked, What books should an aspiring trad Catholic convert be reading and have for references? Thanks!'
So, here, for KCMike and anyone else who might be interested, are some books to start with.
Open Letter to Confused Catholics, by Msgr Marcel Lefebvre
Baltimore Catechism #4, Third Plenary Council of Baltimore (this can be used as a reference work, or as a teacher's manual for the
original Baltimore Catechisms. It is often used as an advanced textbook.
Its explanations of many little known questions pertaining to the
Catholic Faith are designed to reward the questioning reader. If you want to start more simply, or if you have children, #1 is aimed at first communicants through fifth graders, #2 at sixth through ninth graders and those preparing for Confirmation, and #3 at students who have received their Confirmation and/or high schoolers.)
This Is the Faith: A Complete Explanation of the Catholic Faith, By Canon Francis Ripley
Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma, by Fr Ludwig Ott
There are other, excellent books dealing with the Mass, the role of the Blessed Virgin, the history of the destruction of the Mass by Paul VI, etc., but these are a good place to start learning the Faith of the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic, and Roman Church.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Leo XIV as the Vicar of Christ, the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
