U.S. Bishops Invite Heretics to Address Them

The mind reels! They had Roger the Dodger address them on handling homosexual abuse cases??! He's been forbidden public ministry in his previous See because of his mishandling them!

From Gloria.tv

Sister Teresa May, a former president of the anti-Catholic group “Leadership Council for Women Religious”, was invited to talk to the U.S. bishops, gathered in Baltimore. Ten years ago her group was investigated by the Vatican for “serious theological errors”.

Sister May preached on Monday to the bishops during the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

Another controversial host was the ultraliberal Cardinal Roger Mahony who lectured the bishops about handling homosexual abuses although he himself is barred from public ministry due to mishandling of abuse cases.

The retired Army Colonel Anita Raines, the chair-elect of the bishops' “National Advisory Council” [on sexual abuses], recommended to the bishops to audit the seminaries regarding “predatory homosexual behaviour”.

Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler, Texas, suggested that Catholic dioceses should not welcome the homosexual propagandist, Father James Martin.

Outside the conference, ChurchMilitant.com organised a rally attended by 300 people who chanted "Viganó" – referring to the Whistleblower Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
