In 1973, 56 years after the sun spun over Portugal, in one of the least Christian nations on earth, a deaf nun in northern Japan heard a voice coming from a wooden statue. Fire falling from the sky. Survivors who would envy the dead. And a betrayal inside the Church herself: cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops, churches and altars sacked. A Catholic bishop approved the message after eight years of examination. And its conditions are unfolding in the news right now. That warning stands on old ground. Long before Japan, God sent the prophet Jonah to Nineveh with a warning of destruction. The city repented, and the destruction never came.
