Probably the most comprehensive discussion of the Modernist revolution in the Catholic Church – and how it relates to the Society of St. Pius X – ever delivered by a non-SSPX bishop. The SSPX is the largest fraternity of Traditional Latin Mass priests in the world and due to the state of emergency in the Church, they intend to consecrate bishops with or without papal mandate in July of 2026. This is an historic development and, in order to form an opinion on it, Catholics in the pews need to be armed with the truth and not deceived by partisan narratives that bend the truth.
The man who is best qualified to help arm Catholics on this issue is Bishop Athanasius Schneider -- a non-SSPX bishop who was appointed by the Vatican to be an official apostolic visitor to the SSPX for the purpose of informing the pope as to what the priests of the Society of St Pius X are all about. This video offers an explanation of both sides of this controversy and, since Bishop Schneider is not SSPX, it has NOTHING to do with the usual tribalism that has a tendency to bury the truth in favor or one tribe or the other.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Leo XIV as the Vicar of Christ, the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
