In this video, Michael presents a recent clip of Bishop Athanasius Schneider suggesting a course of action for the Vatican to follow regarding the Society of Saint Pius X. Bishop Schneider – who has served as a Vatican observer to the SSPX, and knows them very well – is essentially suggesting something similar to what SSPX Superior General, Father Pagliarani, called for in his recent letter -- which Michael calls "Pagliarani's Brag."
Bishop Schneider also insists that if the Vatican refuses to find a way to work with the SSPX, the "guilt will be on them, not the SSPX." In this, Bishop Schneider is making a case remarkably similar to that made by Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger in 1988 -- that Rome is the problem, not Archbishop Lefebvre.
So, is this issue far more complex than our neo-Catholic friends want it to be? Absolutely! So, please watch and share this clip.
