In this video, we will take a look at E. F. Schumacher's seminal book "Small Is Beautiful: Economics as if People Mattered." Schumacher was an economist and philosopher who argued that the current economic system is unsustainable and that we need to shift to a more decentralized and localized economy. In his view, we needed to make a radical shift to a more decentralized, localized, and sustainable economy. We will review the content of the book, look at how his ideas fit into our world, 50 years after its publication and criticisms of his views.
