To Those Who Support the "Divine Mercy"

Today is Low Sunday or, in the Novus Ordo Calendar, "Divine Mercy Sunday" based on the heretical ravings of Sister Faustina Kowalska. I have a simple question for those who buy into this un-Catholic "devotion".

How do you reconcile with infallible Catholic teaching this passage, in the Diary on page 168, “The moment I knelt down to cross out my own will, as the Lord had bid me to do, I heard this voice in my soul: from today, on, do not fear God’s judgment, for you will not be judged.”?

It is de fide Catholic teaching that all mankind will be judged at their particular and at the general judgement.

If you admit that it is erroneous, would you admit that the Vatican II Church got some things wrong?

Since it does contain the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur and has been cleared of doctrinal errors even though it contains doctrinal errors.

If you agree to both of these, welcome to the road to tradition and seeing what else the Vatican II religion contradicts.

For those who fall back on the 'faulty translation' excuse, yes, I am fully aware of that attempt to sanitise Faustina's ravings. I am also aware that the Church has long since decreed divine simplicity to be a matter of faith (Denzinger 389, 428, 993, and 1782; cf. Ott, Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma, pp. 31-32: de fide dogma). 'Divine simplicity' means that God has no parts or attributes.

He IS Justice, Mercy, Goodness, Truth, Beauty, etc. Divine Simplicity means that no attribute can be greater than any other in God. If mercy is His greatest attribute, as Faustina claims, He is not God. He's just another created, contingent being. I worship the God that the Catholic Church worships, not the created, contingent being that Faustina worshipped. There are many other problems, as well, but these two are a big sticking point for me.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
