Collect of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Eternal High Priest ~ Indulgenced on the Feast (See Note)

According to the Apostolic Penitentiary, a partial indulgence is granted to those who on the feast of any Saint recite in his honour the oration of the Missal or any other approved by legitimate Authority.

V. O Lord, hear my prayer.
R. And let my cry come unto thee.
Let us pray.
God, who for the glory of Thy Majesty and the salvation of the human race, didst make Thine Only Begotten Son the Eternal High Priest, grant that, through the outpouring of the Holy Ghost, those whom He hast chosen as ministers and stewards of His mysteries mayest be found faithful in carrying out the ministry they have received.
Through the same our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, who livest and reignest with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, one God, forever and ever.
R. Amen.

Nota bene - I don't know if this Collect is indulgenced, since today is a Feast of Our Lord, not a Saint, but it can't hurt to honour Him. This Feast is only celebrated in England, Wales, Poland, Slovakia, the Netherlands and Spain, and the Collect is taken from the Propers of the Day at the Liturgy Office for England and Wales .

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
