What's the Real Goal Behind Justin Trudeau's Ten Digital Principles?

Daddy's Little Boy, a/k/a Justin 'Bieber' Trudeau, a/k/a Trudope, moves Canada ever closer to the totalitarian state envisioned by his father.

From Everyday For Life Canada

Did you know that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's Liberal government has established "Digital Charter" to protect Canadians from the dangers of the Internet. We think that it's to shield the Liberal party from just criticism and help them win a re-election that they do not deserve. The ten statements are called "principles" and here they are. The comments that follow each principle are ours.
1. Universal Access:
All Canadians will have equal opportunity to participate in the digital world and the necessary tools to do so, including access, connectivity, literacy and skills.
This is an easy one. We can all agree that all Canadians should have fair access to the social media.
 2. Safety and Security:
Canadians will be able to rely on the integrity, authenticity and security of the services they use and should feel safe online.
No government can guarantee the security of using Internet services. It's Canadians that must be wary of what they decide to share online.
3. Control and Consent:
Canadians will have control over what data they are sharing, who is using their personal data and for what purposes, and know that their privacy is protected.
It's Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social media companies that use personal data for advertising and profits. The Trudeau government should be regulating social media not Canadians who use their services.
4. Transparency, Portability and Interoperability:
Canadians will have clear and manageable access to their personal data and should be free to share or transfer it without undue burden.
This is not true. Social media companies have de-platformed conservatives users at will. The government should be protecting dissenting voices on the Internet instead of trying to shut them down.
 5. Open and Modern Digital Government:
Canadians will be able to access modern digital services from the Government of Canada, which are secure and simple to use.
Canadians should not trust the Liberal government of Canada. The Liberal party is interested only in information or censorship that will help them win votes and stay in power.
 6. A Level Playing Field:
The Government of Canada will ensure fair competition in the online marketplace to facilitate the growth of Canadian businesses and affirm Canada's leadership on digital and data innovation, while protecting Canadian consumers from market abuses.
The best thing the government can do is to make sure that  there is free and open competition in cyberspace. Let Canadians consume content from the market place of ideas, not what the government wants them to  know and share.
7. Data and Digital for Good:
The Government of Canada will ensure the ethical use of data to create value, promote openness and improve the lives of people—at home and around the world.
The Government of Canada can't be trusted to be ethical. Look at what they did with the SNC Lavalin scandal and the false accusation against Vice-Admiral Mark Norman. The government cannot be judge and referee.
 8. Strong Democracy:
The Government of Canada will defend freedom of expression and protect against online threats and disinformation designed to undermine the integrity of elections and democratic institutions.
Who decides what are "online threats and disinformation"? How can Canadians trust the Liberal government when it comes to "the integrity of elections and democratic institutions"? Canadians must be very skeptical.
9. Free from Hate and Violent Extremism:
Canadians can expect that digital platforms will not foster or disseminate hate, violent extremism or criminal content.
What is "hate"? It's a feeling not an action. No decent government can pretend to free Canadians from feelings and content they disagree. It's part of being in a democracy and what freedom of speech is all about.
10. Strong Enforcement and Real Accountability:
There will be clear, meaningful penalties for violations of the laws and regulations that support these principles.
The last three principles make clear the Liberal goal. Get ready to be censored if your ideas aren't acceptable or politically correct for the Trudeau Liberal government. These principles are nothing more that an open door to more social media censorship by the state. The statements are designed to help the Liberals get re-elected. Canadians need to push back. They should see them for what they really are and reject them. It's liberal propaganda disguised as digital principles.

Tell me why we don't believe a word of what what Minister Navdeep Bains says about the "Digital Charter"? Care to share your thoughts before they censor this blog post?
