King Charles III's First Maundy Money Coins
The Royal Maundy ceremony takes place each year on Maundy Thursday. During the ancient ceremony, the monarch gifts specially struck coins to men and women chosen because of the Christian service they have given to the Church and the community. Here are the first coins of King Charles III's reign struck in 2023.
