Renamed! It Is Now Queen Camilla’s Crown

It makes sense. It was only ever used for Queen Mary. Why not rename it?

Queen Camilla's crown, originally made for Queen Mary in 1911, has been officially renamed and has undergone significant alterations, including the removal of half-arches and the re-setting of notable diamonds. This video explores its history, design, and the implications of these changes.

Crown's Original Purpose: Queen Mary's crown was intended as a permanent consort's crown, crafted in silver gilt and adorned with 2,200 rose-cut diamonds. Design Features: The crown features a unique structure with eight removable half-arches and is inspired by Queen Alexandra's Crown, maintaining diamond-only embellishments. Recent Modifications: Ahead of the 2023 coronation, alterations were made to align the crown with the imperial state crown, including the removal of four half-arches. Significant Stones: The crown originally included the Kohinoor diamond and two diamonds from the Cullinan diamond, with the Kohinoor having a controversial history. Historical Context of Stones: The Kohinoor diamond has been passed through various royal hands, while the Cullinan diamonds were also incorporated into Queen Mary’s crown, with Cullinan III and IV later being used by Queen Elizabeth II. Current State of the Crown: Following recent changes, the crown now features Cullinan III, IV, and the Cullinan V brooch, filling the space left by the Kohinoor, which remains in Queen Elizabeth’s crown.

Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
