What the MSM Won’t Tell Canadians About the Liberal Party During the 2025 Federal Election

Thanks to Trump's tariffs, what had been a Conservative landslide now looks like a narrow Liberal victory, handing Canada to the WEF elites in the person of Mark Carney, central banker.

Real Women of Canada in their latest newsletter do an excellent job to remind Canadians of the economic and moral damage done to the country by the Liberal Party of Canada, in the last ten years. It’s one disaster after another. Canadians must not fall for the latest Liberal lie that President Trump and the tariffs is the big crisis Canada faces. It's merely a political distraction.

No, the real crisis has been caused by the repeated corrupt actions of the Liberal Party and their enablers the NDP while governing. Canadians must give Net-Zero man Carney and the Liberals, ZERO VOTES. Ditto for the NDP. Re-electing them will completely destroy Canada by handing it over to those pushing the Great-Rest at the World Economic Forum.

Here’s the Real Women of Canada timely message appropriately titled, "Liberal Party Corruption, Part I." And the article says nothing about the Liberals forcing Canadians to accept abortion, euthanasia, marijuana use and all the letters of the sexual alphabet as settled issues. Sadly, this moral decadence is also exported abroad.

With an election now set for April 28, 2025, Canadians will be inundated with Liberal propaganda over the coming weeks claiming that the Liberal Party and its newly enthroned leader, Mark Carney, are the only ones to lead Canada in these “uncertain economic times”. The problems with this claim are many. For starters, economic times are always “uncertain”. If they weren’t, we’d all be millionaires having made “sure thing” investments based on economic certainties. 

The biggest problem with the claim, however, rests within the Liberal Party itself. Justin Trudeau may have moved off the political stage, but he and his Liberal Party have left behind a legacy of disastrous, woke, progressive policies that will be enforced by Carney. In the past 10 years, the Liberals have divided the country, caused confusion among the public, and deeply damaged the economy which has stagnated. No one wants to invest in Canada any longer. 

The vast majority of Canadians, even those who are life-long supporters of the Liberal Party, should be concerned about Canada’s future under Carney. The Liberal operatives believe they can quell any concerns by pretending that Carney can handle this sensitive situation with Trump. His past record, which will be examined in Part II, indicates that he cannot do so. The writing is on the wall if we allow a fourth term for the Liberals under Carney. 

Despite Justin’s departure, Canadians must not forget, as the Liberals wish us to, the destruction the Party has caused to our country. Therefore, as a matter of record, REAL Women has documented at least some of the more damaging actions/policies that should never be forgotten or repeated if Canada is to survive as a sovereign nation. 

The Liberal Party Legacy 

The only qualification(s) Justin Trudeau had to enter politics and ascend to the leadership of the Liberal Party was his last name. If it were not for his last name, Justin would never have become leader of the Liberal Party, let alone Prime Minister. Lacking serious academic or business experience and with questionable moral standards and ethics, it is obvious that Trudeau merely served as an embodiment of what constitutes the Brain Trust of the Liberal Party, as exemplified by the likes of Mark Carney. The assets of that Brain Trust include: the globalist agenda of the World Economic Forum (WEF), the fantasy/scam of Net-Zero economy and a slavish adherence to, and preference for, the interests of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Accordingly, to talk of Trudeau is synonymous with talking about the Liberal Party, for in effect, Trudeau merely served as a convenient front man for those with a decidedly anti-Canadian agenda. 

Trudeau’s Scandals 

Quite apart from policy blunders, Trudeau’s tenure as Prime Minister was marred by many scandals that are indicative of the Liberal Party’s corrupt culture of entitlement. An example was Trudeau’s Christmas visit in 2016 to the Aga Khan’s private estate in the Bahamas at a time when the Aga Khan was receiving grants from the federal government. 

Trudeau’s Mr. Dress-up visit to India humiliated Canada when he and his family wore Bollywood clothes not worn by Indian citizens. This visit also included an invitation by Canada to a state dinner that included a personal invitation to a Sikh extremist, Jaspar Atwal – one of four people convicted in a 1986 plot to murder an Indian cabinet minister. 

In the SNC-Lavalin scandal, Trudeau attempted to push aside prosecution in a corruption case involving Quebec-based construction giant SNC-Lavalin. Trudeau attempted to pressure Attorney General Jody Wilson-Raybould to suspend charges. She refused to do so and was dismissed from the cabinet. 

In the WE Charity scandal, an international children’s charity, the two brothers who operated the charity were appointed to administer a $912 million Canada Student Service program. It was later learned that Trudeau’s mother and his brother were paid to speak at WE events. Trudeau did not object to this appointment. 

Numerous instances of Trudeau in blackface appeared. When questioned how many times he had appeared in blackface, Canada’s prime actor could not recall. 

Trudeau illegally invoked the Emergencies Act to shut down the Freedom Convoy and to illegally freeze participants’ bank accounts, actions which Mark Carney enthusiastically endorsed. 

Trudeau has an extensive history of spending millions of dollars on trips abroad, including a 2015 trip to the UN’s Climate Change conference which cost $800,000 to send 283 delegates. Trudeau’s delegation was the largest in the world. For example, the US only sent 124 delegates to the same conference. In 2024, Trudeau’s government spent $1.4 million sending 633 attendees to Dublin, Ireland, for the UN’s COP28 Climate Change conference. Carney is determined to impose a climate change agenda on Canadians as was Trudeau. For example, Carney openly stated that taxpayers’ money will be spent to create “green energy” projects. It is understood that there will be no financial restraints on such projects. The oil and gas industry, hated by Trudeau, is equally loathed by Carney, who was the founder of the Net-Zero policy, organizing banks across the world to kill the oil and gas industry by refusing it investment funds. 

Trudeau’s parade of scandals shows someone who is unable to distinguish between legal and illegal acts and who lacks the ability to distinguish right from wrong. Being unable to make such distinctions, Trudeau appears not to be bothered by any restraints on his behaviour. This is how Carney operates as well. He refuses to make public his personal investments and hides them behind a blind trust. How are Canadians supposed to know when his political decisions have been influenced by his investments, especially when his former company, of which he was CEO, is known to have enormous investments with Communist China. 

Trudeau’s Cabinet Scandals 

To implement the Liberal Party agenda, Trudeau assembled cabinets of highly incompetent, dishonest individuals who unfortunately followed Trudeau’s example of unprincipled practices and corruption. These same individuals are now mainly forming Carney’s new cabinet. Examples of Trudeau cabinet ministers’ dishonesty were pervasive. To list just a few examples: 

François-Phillipe Champagne, when Minister of Industry, permitted a Trudeau hand-picked appointment, Annette Verschuren, as Chairman of the Board of a billion-dollar fund. The fund was supposed to be used to promote green energy projects. In July 2024, the Ethics Commissioner, Mario Dion, ruled that Chairman Verschuren had violated the Conflict of Interest Act by awarding a contract to her own company. In his scathing report, Ethics Commissioner Dion detailed Verschuren’s violations as well as that of other members of the Board who were using the fund to give grants to their own companies. According to Dion, Minister Champagne had been told about this conflict of interest but did nothing until the matter became public. 

Mary Ng, Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development, gave her personal friend a contract from her department for which she apologized, but refused to resign. 

Bill Blair, when Minister of Public Security, delayed for 54 days signing a search warrant as requested by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service concerning investigations into Chinese interference involving Liberal party politicians. Such “spy warrants” have a usual turnaround time of just ten days. Mr. Blair, in his more recent appointment as Minister of National Defence, has spent millions of scarce national defence dollars to implement the department’s vision of DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) but not on tanks and ships. As a result, the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) has been reduced to a farcical military which is unable to recruit or retain personnel. The CAF is now a completely ineffective military force experiencing the lowest morale in its history. 

The former Minister of National Defence, Harjit Sajjan, a Sikh, ordered that priority must be given to a group of Sikhs on Canadian military planes which were fleeing Afghanistan when the Taliban were taking over. This group of Sikh individuals were not Canadian citizens, nor did they have any connection to Canada. As a result of this, Canadian citizens remained behind in Afghanistan, as were the translators to Canadian troops and their families who were especially vulnerable when the Taliban took over. 

The Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) has awarded contracts worth billions of dollars to just three companies since the 1990s. One of these companies claimed to be “Indigenous” which entitled it to special benefits. It was not “Indigenous”, but no one bothered to investigate. The most recent activity between the CBSA and these three companies occurred when they were asked to develop an app for travellers entering Canada. This app called “ArriveCan” was first contracted at $2.35 million but that soon ballooned to nearly $60 million, although the Auditor General, Karen Hogan, stated that “the management of the project was so poor that it's impossible to know the final amount for sure.” Hogan, an auditor for several decades, remarked at the news conference releasing her report that “This is probably some of the worst financial record-keeping that I've seen" with missing documents, misplaced documents and no documents at all. 

The department of Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Housing and Diversity and Inclusion, later, Minister of International Development, gave a $133,000 grant to the Community Media Advocacy Centre (CMAC) in order to build an anti-racism strategy for the broadcasting sector. This organization’s senior consultant (Laith Marouf) had a history of antisemitism, referring to Jews on his website as “Jewish White Supremacists” and “loud mouthed bags of human faeces”,[1] surely one of the most vile and vicious antisemitic remarks ever uttered in Canada. Fellow Liberal MP Anthony Housefather claims that he told Minister Hussen about the antisemitic consultant before the news broke, and that Hussen and his department could have moved more quickly to cut CMAC's funding.[2] Mr. Hussen knew this for a month but did nothing until the matter was exposed. The money was never retrieved. 

Failure to Stand Against Antisemitism 

One of the most egregious examples of Liberal corruption has been their complete failure to stand up to growing antisemitism in Canada. Since the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, under the Liberal government, antisemitic demonstrations have been running rampant on Canadian streets with a strange absence of public outrage from any of our politicians and no demands for enforcement of laws. 

Until recently, the Canadian approach to peaceful assembly had been marked by civility and a positive message. Unfortunately, the pro-Palestine demonstrations post-October 7 lack both civility and anything approaching a positive message. Indeed, with their intimidation, harassment, and threatening tone, these protests are completely antithetical to Canada’s political and social discourse. The blocking of streets, shouting hateful antisemitic slogans, and interrupting official government functions are efforts at mob rule. These mobs would be bad enough if they were taking place outside the Israeli Embassy or Israeli Consulates. However, they are occurring at Jewish synagogues, hospitals, and institutions, such as the Holocaust Museum in Montreal. Why are Jewish businesses in Montreal and Toronto vandalized, with attempts being made to set them on fire? Why were gun shots heard at a Jewish elementary school in Montreal and Toronto? Why was a Jewish theatre closed because it was “unsafe” for Jews to attend the performances there? Why was a Toronto highway overpass near a predominantly Jewish neighbourhood continually picketed? The obvious answer to these questions is simple: first, to intimidate Jews, and second, as a warning to the rest of us. 

The Trudeau government has avoided any leadership role in attempting to stop these Palestinian demonstrations, despite the fact that the demonstrators are violating the Criminal Code and mobilizing hatred, intimidation, and harassment across this country. This failure has led to the demonstrations becoming even more radical, disrupting Canadians’ lives by preventing them from going about their business peacefully and safely. 

Corruption, Thy Name is “Liberal” 

These are just a few of the unethical and corrupt actions the Liberal government of Justin Trudeau has perpetrated. There are many others. 

The above is an indication of how the Liberal Party has degenerated. The causes of that degeneration are numerous, including corruption, incompetence, left-wing/woke ideology, climate madness and foreign interference. The result is a Liberal Party which is no longer a respectable political party, but merely a loose confederation of special interest groups seeking to advance a woke, left-wing, globalist agenda. Canadians mean nothing to the Liberals except as tools to provide taxpayers’ money to implement their ideology.

Elections Really Do Have Consequences

The next 37 days of the election campaign are going to shake up Canada. Canadians are at a crossroads. Do we choose to go with Carney and the Liberals who have nothing to offer except policies based on corruption and deceit, and left-wing climate change insanity or do we choose a quite different future under the Conservatives who seem to understand our genuine needs and anxieties in this tumultuous world? The Conservative Party under Pierre Poilievre will be far from perfect, but at least as it has already indicated, it listens to us, and as far as we know has not been corrupted by foreign influences such as the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

It is both naïve and foolhardy to believe that Canada’s economy and sovereignty can or will be protected by Liberal policies as offered in this election. While Mark Carney is no Justin Trudeau, as Part II will demonstrate, Carney is as flawed as Trudeau and comes with the same pathetic policy baggage as Trudeau—reasons enough to reject both Carney and the Liberal Party on April 28.
