European Titles of Royalty & Nobility | Ranks of France, Spain, UK, HRE & Russia

There are a few errors, but still worth watching.

While binging your favourite historical drama, catching up on royal news, or enjoying one of my videos, you may have noticed a number of different royal and noble titles and ranks. Emperor, Archduke, Grand Duchess, Tsaravich, Landgrave, Count and so on. What do they mean? And which are ranked higher? I’ve done an episode explaining all of the British titles. But how does the aristocracy outside of England compare? Today I’ll line up the similar systems of France, Spain, and Britain, plus the decidedly different ranks used in the Holy Roman Empire and Imperial Russia.
