Why the Pagan Gods Were Evil

With Regis Martin, STD, Professor of Dogmatic and Systematic Theology at Franciscan University.

In this installment, Dr. Regis Martin takes us back to the time of the Early Church amidst the time of great persecution. Before Emperor Constantine legalized Christianity in the Roman Empire, the early Christians lived in a pagan dominated world with drastic misunderstandings on the very nature and behavior of God. Regis Martin analyzes the flaws of the mythologies of ancient Roman, Greece, and Egypt and how these errors confused and hurt man's understanding of the one true God and his relationship with Him. Because of this, he explains why these views needed to be destroyed. Only through Christ and His Church can one come to know and love God. This was not only true in the ancient world, but is especially true in our post-modern world today.
