Louise Françoise De Bourbon ~ Legalised Daughter Of Louis XIV

Louise Françoise de Bourbon was born in Tournai on June 1, 1673 and died in Paris on June 16, 1743. She was a daughter of King Louis XIV and his mistress, Athénais De Montespan. Louise Françoise is described as beautiful, charming, and intelligent, but also selfish, extravagant, and deceitful. She liked to rhyme satirical or bawdy songs about her contemporaries, including her sisters, the Duke of Burgundy and his wife Maria Adelaide of Savoy, Madame de Maintenon, her husband, and even the king. It was often claimed that she inherited the beauty as well as the wit and wit of her mother Françoise-Athénaïs de Rochechouart de Mortemart, Marquise de Montespan.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
