Jean-Baptiste Colbert - Louis XIV 's Minister Of State And Economy
Jean-Baptiste Colbert was born in Reims on 29 August 1619 and died in Paris on 6 September 1683. He was a French politician who became known as King Louis XIV's minister of state and economy.
