The grisly murder comes as the French media, in the past two weeks alone, has reported on several incidents involving illegal migrants carrying out brutal attacks—rapes and murders—against the elderly and other exceptionally vulnerable individuals, such as hospital patients and pre-teens.
An undocumented Algerian migrant was arrested earlier this week on suspicion of having murdered a pensioner at his home in France. The victim is said to have been renting a room in his dwelling to the alleged murderer.
The 35-year-old Algerian national, who is said to have been residing in the French territory illegally, is believed to have beaten to death his landlord, a 65-year-old man, in the early morning hours on Tuesday, December 6th, at his home in Vigneux-Sur-Seine, a commune in the southern suburbs of Paris, the state broadcaster France Info reports.
French authorities, after receiving an emergency call at around 4 a.m. from a man claiming his landlord had fallen to the ground during a dispute, arrived at the scene to find a 65-year-old man lying motionless on the ground with severe head injuries. The younger man “was covered in blood and appeared to be heavily intoxicated,” a source close to the case told French media.
Emergency services attempted to resuscitate the victim, to no avail, before subsequently pronouncing dead at the scene. The suspect, for his part, was taken into police custody on suspicion of “voluntary homicide.” Authorities placed him in a drunk tank until he was fit for questioning. The investigation has been entrusted to Departmental Security and is ongoing.
The grisly murder comes as the French media, in the past two weeks alone, has reported on several incidents involving illegal migrants carrying out brutal attacks—rapes and murders—against the elderly and other exceptionally vulnerable individuals, such as hospital patients and pre-teens.
In late November, a 22-year-old Jordanian national with three deportation orders who had been known to authorities under 13 identities was arrested for the rape of a 34-year-old female patient who had been admitted to the emergency department following a traumatic brain injury.
Furthermore, just days ago, The European Conservative reported on a complaint filed against a French hospital for gross negligence that led to an incident that saw two elderly Alzheimer’s patients, aged 68 and 78—both of whom had been under the care of the establishment at the time—allegedly raped by 27-year-old homeless Congolese migrant. Two days after the rape, the same man is said to have raped another vulnerable person—this time a 12-year-old girl—in the Zilina-Chemin district of Nanterre.
An opinion poll published earlier this month indicated that nearly 7 in 10 French citizens believe the security situation in France has deteriorated in recent years, with less than one in three saying they trust President Emmanuel Macron to rectify the situation, The European Conservative reported.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
