This was posted on FB by a friend of mine after the results of the 'referendum' were announced.
For some Russian math, let's work this out…"Russian media: 95.5% vote for secession..."
58% of Russians in Crimea - 2/3 of them were for any secession.
25% of Ukrainians in Crimea - against secession.
13% Tatars in Crimea - all 100% against secession. - Boycotted referendum.
Leader of Tatars made several official statements that Tatars abstained.
Mass demonstrations against fake referendum days prior to it.
Crimea is under the occupation of Russian military troops.
Ballot forms didn't have an option for the status quo ante to vote for.
International observers were kicked out of Crimea, nobody there to verify attendance and count, except groups, assigned from Kremlin.
Ukrainian and foreign journalists were kicked out, equipment destroyed.
Citizens of Russia, delivered by busses prior to the referendum, were used for voting.
All the photos from the referendum show barely a few people at voting stations during the day.
People who abstained from voting are persuaded to vote at home by special groups, going from door to door with boxes...
It's surprising, it's only "95%" and not 119%.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
