100 Years Ago, Mary Warned Us About Russia — It's Happening in 2026

In the summer of 1917, months before the Bolsheviks seized power, three children in a Portuguese field named the very country about to set the century on fire. The warning was conditional: if her requests were heeded, there would be peace. If not, Russia would spread its errors across the earth. A prophecy of this kind is not a crystal ball. It is a smoke alarm, sounded so that you will get up and change what happens next. The pattern is as old as scripture. Jonah warned Nineveh and the city turned back. Jeremiah 18 says God relents of disaster when a nation turns from its evil. The Hebrew word for that turning is shuv, the same call that runs from the prophets of Israel through Fatima to this morning.
