When we think of a top-tier Catholic education, names like Notre Dame or Catholic University usually top the list. But let’s be real: even with recent massive increases in financial aid, the 'sticker price' and high competition of elite private schools can feel out of reach for many families. Does that mean you have to leave your faith at the door to get an affordable degree? Not at all. Today, public and secular universities are home to some of the most vibrant Catholic communities in the country. I’m counting down the top 8 secular schools where you can find a world-class education and a faithful environment.
