A Busy Late June and Early July: Consistory and Consecrations

It is likely that at the June Consistory, His Holiness will announce new Red Hats. His appointees will tell us much about his developing Pontificate.

From
Rorate Cæli

The Pope had announced, following the January consistory (in which the liturgical question was skirted), that a new consistory would take place by the summer: and the Dean of the College of Cardinals sent out a letter today with the exact dates: on June 26/27, followed by masses on Sunday (June 28) and on the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul -- letter revealed by journalist Diane Montagna, available below:

It is possible that the Pope will soon announce new Cardinals, who would be created in the same consistory period.

A reminder that, right after this, on July 1st, the new consecrations for the Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) will take place in Switzerland. How will the foreknowledge of this event, a repetition of the 1988 consecrations, affect any liturgical discussions in late June? Or will the liturgy be avoided again by the cardinals expecting to see what fallout there might be of the new Econe consecrations?...

Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Leo XIV as the Vicar of Christ, the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
