Who Were the Mistresses of Louis XV Before Jeanne Du Barry and Madame De Pompadour – Part II
Aside from Madame De Pompadour, Madame Du Barry and the Nesle Sisters, Louis XV had many mistresses, who were unofficially titled ‘les petites maitresses’, and whom have been largely forgotten by history. Today we’ll take a brief look at these forgotten women, who, for a short of longer period during the reign of Louis XV, played a major part in the life of the Playboy King.
