The good Cardinal was 81 years old, but if the Vatican says his death is 'shrouded in mystery' for once, as odd as it seems, I believe them.

The Vatican's ex-auditor general Libero Milone told the newspaper today that Cardinal George Pell's death last year remains "shrouded in mystery."
The newspaper reports that rumours have "swirled around the Holy See for months" that Pell's body was "left in post-autopsy disarray and not properly dressed, sparking further concerns about his last hours."
The Australian added that it had asked the Salvator Mundi hospital in Rome where Cardinal Pell had died after undergoing a routine hip operation "to comment on claims by senior sources that internal CCTV cameras were not working on and around January 10 last year and that no medical doctor was on duty the evening the Cardinal died. At the time of publication, the hospital has not responded."
Some months ago, I sent and resent a list of six questions to the same hospital asking its health director, Dr. Luigi Macchitella, for clarification regarding the circumstances around Cardinal Pell's death but he also did not respond.
Salvator Mundi is a private hospital half owned by (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center).
The Vatican's ex-auditor general Libero Milone told The Australian that he made a heartfelt vow at the Cardinal's funeral last year to "get to the truth" about Pell's death.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
