As my Pastor said when we had a Eucharistic Procession through our town, 'Let's share our greatest Treasure with our neighbours.'

It’s not often you see a movie return to the cinema just a couple weeks after it left, but then again, we don’t see too many movies about the Eucharist either. Jesus Thirsts: The Miracle of the Eucharist had such a successful limited 3-day release from June 4-6 that the folks at Fathom Events are bringing it back for a second stint on June 18 and 19.
It was a perfect time to release a documentary on the Most Holy Eucharist in the US, as the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage is traveling by four routes towards Indianapolis, the site of the National Eucharistic Congress in July. Fathom may be wise to arrange a few theaters in the city to run the documentary during the Congress. Popular demand has driven its return even without those engaged in the spiritual cross-country walk, but imagine how many at the Congress might be interested in watching the film.

Jesus Thirsts: The Miracle of the Eucharist is a feature-length documentary from executive Producer Deacon Steve Greco and producers James Wahlberg and Tim Moriarty. Described as “visually stunning,” the film features insights and testimonies of some of the most prominent Catholic thinkers of our era, both past and present. Viewers are taken all over the world to see how the faithful follow their devotions to the Eucharist in the United States, Poland, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Uganda, Canada, and Slovenia.
With Our Lady“My greatest hope for this film has been and continues to be winning souls for Jesus Christ,” said Deacon Steve Greco, executive producer. “I’m incredibly grateful to the movie-goers for showing up! Now, we need to show up again and with others. To those who have experienced the power of this movie, I implore you to be a Eucharistic evangelist for our film as we encore with added dates June 18 and 19!
Those who attend the extended theatrical release on June 18 and 19 will also be treated to a bonus feature: Our Lady of Guadalupe: Woman of the Eucharist. Produced by the Knights of Columbus, this short film explores how Our Lady of Guadalupe helps us to become more aware of the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly said of the film at its 2022 release:
“This powerful and moving film shows how Catholics encounter Christ through prayer and devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe. Mary was completely focused on Our Lord with ever greater devotion. To imitate her and to be devoted to her as Mother of our Lord and our mother is a sure way to greater love of the eucharistic Lord, who gave up his life for the world. And the more we devote ourselves to the Eucharist, the more we will understand what it means to live a life of self-gift to one another and so strengthen the unity of the body of Christ.”

Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
