MM Video: Czar Alexander III
Alexander III was Emperor and Autocrat of all the Russias from 1881 to 1894. Married to Princess Dagmar of Denmark he was known for his simple tastes, devotion to his family, religious convictions, great strength and staunch defense of the autocracy. He dealt fairly and honestly with all the powers of Europe and defended the Russian Empire from all unrest and disorder. The revolutionaries who had attacked his father were firmly suppressed and the Romanov dynasty secured.
