Language Advisory as to the above video. My village of Dwight, Illinois of 3900 was completely peaceful during the riots of 2020. I haven’t touched a weapon since I last fired an M-16 back in the seventies during my service with the Green Machine. However most of my friends and neighbors have firearms, some multiple firearms. I think the rioters of 2020 had a survival instinct kick in telling them that places like Dwight are filled with people who are peaceful and friendly, but who won’t be buffaloed by anyone. Another factor is that a high percentage of the adult men in the town are veterans. After that experience, most don’t frighten easily.
