Recently, the Islamist dictator of Turkey, Erdoğan, called for a boycott of Sweden & the Netherlands because (gasp!) they have the freedom to criticise Islam. My immediate reaction was to go to the website of my favourite liquorice store, Licorice International, and order liquorice from both countries.
It has arrived and I'm thoroughly enjoying my 'anti-Turkish' sweets!
However, this gave rise to some thoughts. If the Jews claim Israel because they once owned it and the Muslims claim it on the same basis, why can't we Christians claim all of Anatolia and the Levant because we once owned it? It was part of Christendom before it was conquered by the jihad. We're the only religion still extant that owned it before its conquest, tho' I suppose the Zoroastrians could claim those eastern parts once ruled by Persia.

Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks!
