A Christmas Alphabet

Not the one Perry Como sang about...

I tend to keep off religion and politics in my general conversation.  There seem to be folk who are atheists, agnostics and there seems to be something of a pagan revival. Anyway, in the midst of people wishing folk a Happy Winter Solstice, I decided to try and come up with a Christmas Alphabet (only with the letters in CHRISTMAS).  Some letters were easier than others.

C is for the Christ child born at this time
H is for Hosanna sung by the angels
R is for the road long and dusty that Mary and Joseph travelled to Bethlehem
is for the inn where there was no room
is for the stable where Mary and Joseph went because the inn was full
T is for the trio of wise men who came from the east to see the infant Jesus
M is for Mary, mother of the Christ child
A is for the angels who announced the birth of Jesus to the
S is for the shepherds watching their sheep on the hills near Bethlehem.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
