She's still not the longest-reigning monarch of Canada, despite all the hype about the length of her reign. Louis XVI ruled for 71 years, three months, and 18 days. She will pass that milestone on 20 May next year, if she lives that long. Of course, her Mum, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, made it to 101. God save the Queen!
