Today, St Joannicius' Day, is the 52nd anniversary of my first step on my journey to Catholicism. On this day in 1973, I was Chrismated (Confirmed) in the Serbian Orthodox Church. When I became Catholic 7 years later, on St Wenceslaus Day, 1980, I recited the Creed & got a handshake, rather than being Confirmed.
