The Irish Catholic Deserters Who Fought For Mexico Against America ~ Batallón de San Patricio
A look at the Saint Patrick's Battalion, a group of Irish soldiers who deserted from the US army, joined the Mexican army, and fought against the USA in the Mexican American war of 1846.
