Mrs Kreitzer points out how wokeism will inevitably lower the skill levels of vital areas like medicine, education, and safety. In education, of course, it's already well advanced.

Do you think twice these days about getting on an airplane? Do you wonder whether the pilot and co-pilot are competent? How about the air traffic controllers? Do you know how many near misses have happened in the air during the past few years? One occurred just a few days ago when a Southwest flight nearly hit a LaGuardia control tower during landing. The situation is so serious, in fact, that the FAA held a safety summit last year. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said at the time, “We are particularly concerned because we have seen an uptick in serious close calls.”
As a parent, do you notice that your children get less education in the traditional three Rs (Reading, Writing and 'Rithmetic) and more brainwashing in the three DEIs (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion)?
The other day my husband waxed eloquent about the latest Hillsdale Imprimis article by Heather MacDonald titled Disparate Impact thinking Is Destroying Our Civilization. "This should be required reading for everybody," he said. After reading the article, I agree.
- In 2019 66 percent of all black 12th graders did not possess even partial mastery of basic 12th grade math skills, defined a s being able to do arithmetic and to read a graph.
- Only seven percent of black 12th graders were proficient in. 12th grade math, defined as being able to calculate using ratios.
- The number of black 12th graders who were advanced in math was too small to show up statistically in a national sample.
- Fifty percent of black 12th graders did not possess even partial mastery of basic reading.
"In the post-George Floyd era, black juveniles are shot at 100 times the rate of white juveniles. Blacks between the age of ten and 24 are killed in drive by shootings at nearly 25 times the rate of whites in that same age cohort. Dozens of blacks are murdered every day, more than all white and Hispanic homicide victims combined, even though blacks are just 13 percent of the population. The country turns its eyes away. Who is killing these black victims? Not the police, not whites, but other blacks."As for interracial violence, blacks are a greater threat to whites than whites are to blacks. Blacks commit 85 percent of all non-lethal interracial violence between blacks and whites. A black person is 35 times more likely to commit an act of non-lethal violence against a white person than vice versa. Yet the national narrative insists on the opposit idea -- and too many dutifully play along."These crime disparities mean that the police cannot restore law and order in neighbornhoods where innocent people are most being victimized without having a disparate impact on black criminals. So the political establishment has decided not to restore law and order."
And who is victimized most by this? Innocent, law-abiding, black citizens. Perhaps that helps explain the growing exodus of blacks from the Democrat plantation.
MacDonadl warns that "disparate impact thinking" is the M.O. of the Left and is causing "our civilization...to crumble." Even the arts are "subjected to...hostile interpretation." Just think of how Huckleberry Finn, a brilliant criticism of slavery and racial injustice has been subject to censorship and banning in school libraries. Think of how Joel Chandler Harris's Uncle Remus stories, meant to preserve the beauty and imagination of black culture, have also been dropped down the memory hole.
And another sad commentary on the stupidity of woke tyranny was treating Little Black Sambo like a crime against humanity. A smart little black child, clever enough to trick the tiger, is seen, not as a praiseworthy testimony, but just one more proof of....well....what is it always about?....RACISM!
Racism certainly exists. And guess what...there may be more black racists than white ones. My husband and I fostered a little five-year-old years ago. He came to us from the hospital with no shoes, only bedroom slippers. So I took him to the mall to buy some shoes. Walking toward the shoe store, I passed a black man who looked at us and said with a vitriolic and sneering voice, "What are you doing with that black boy?" I could only smile in return and reply, "Taking him to buy some shoes." That little boy, who lived with us for only a few months, called us several years ago when he was in his early twenties. We had moved out to the valley by then, so he had to go to some effort to track us down. "Are you the Kreitzers who had the dog Shaley?" he asked. Indeed we were. At the end of our conversation, I asked for his address and sent a Christmas card a few months later. It was returned. I was sorry to lose touch again, but I still pray for him.
We live in times when fostering animosity between people is a staple of political life. Barack Obama, as a quintessential Leftist, was an expert. The first black president had no gratitude to the population who elected him, mostly white voters. He used his eight years to foment as much racism against whites, (particularly conservative, religious whites) as he could. And the white elitists continue to do it -- not because they care about the black community, but because they can be used to advance their control.
So what do we do? MacDonald offers an answer:
"We proclaim that standards are not reacist and that excellence is not racist. We assert that categories like race, gender, and sexual preference are never qualifications for a job. I know for a fact that being female is not an accomplishement. I am equally sure that being gay or being black are also not accomplishments.
"Should conservative political candidates campaign against disparate impact thinking and in favor of standards of merit? Of course they should! They will be accused of waging a culture war. But it is the progressive elites, not their conservative opponents, who are engaging in cultural revolution!
"Most conservatives today are not even playing defense. How about legislation to ban racial preferences in medicat training and practice. How about eliminating the disparate impact standard in statutes and regulations.....
"Lowering standards helps no one since high expectations are the key to achievement. In defense of excellence we must speak the truth, never apologize, and never back down.

However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
