Louise De Lorraine - Wife of Henri III Of France


Louise of Lorraine was born in Nomeny on 30 April 1553 and died at Château de Moulins, 29 January 1601. She was the daughter of Nicholas of Lorraine, Count of Vaudémont and Margaret of Egmont. On 15 February 1575 she married Henry III of France in Reims. The marriage remained childless. Louise was Queen of France from 1575 until 1601.
