Is the church Jesus founded INVISIBLE? Where did the "invisible church" idea come from, and is it anywhere in the Bible? In this episode, former Protestant pastor Kenny Burchard puts the invisible church to the test of Scripture and finds five marks of a very VISIBLE church, from the day of Pentecost to the gates of hell. Here's the problem: the phrase "invisible church" appears nowhere in the Bible. Nobody taught it for the first 1,500 years of Christianity. It was invented in the 16th century by the Reformers, who needed a new definition of "church" after they broke away from the visible one. This episode shows what the Bible actually describes.
