Was King Æthelred Really Unready?
Most people, when they think of the Anglo-Saxon King Æthelred, think of Danegeld, genocide and a perpetual state of being unready for the next Viking raid. But in this video on why King Æthelred did nothing wrong, I'd like to challenge this view in several ways and bring some nuance to this, in my opinion, overly hated figure from the Anglo-Saxon past.
