How Monks Combined Beauty and Knowledge in the Illuminated Manuscript
Here is how Medieval illuminated manuscripts were made by monks, starting with raw vellum and concluding with illumination by skilled artists. We also show how monks made ink and describe the common fonts used by monks in the Middle Ages.
