Today is the Feasts of the Presentation of the BVM in the Temple, Ss Columbanus, Abbot & Confessor, Gelasius, Pope & Confessor, the author of the Gelasian Dyarchy, Rufus of Rome, disciple of St Paul, Digain, Prince of Dumnonia, Amelberga of Susteren, Virgin & Abbess, & of  Bld Mary of Jesus Good Shepherd, Foundress of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth.

AD 235 – Pope Anterus succeeds Pontian as the nineteenth Successor of St Peter as Vicar of Christ.
