Last Sunday, Dr. Joseph Shaw delivered a lecture for the Arlington Latin Mass Society titled Traditionis Custodes and the Future of the Traditional Latin Mass. In it, he provides an update on the status of Latin Mass restrictions and their future, and answers audience questions. Since 2009, Dr. Shaw has been the Chairman of the UK Latin Mass Society, and since 2021, he has been President of Una Voce International. His books include The Intellectuals and the Latin Mass: Petitions to Save the Ancient Mass from 1966-2007Sacred and Great: A Brief Introduction to the Traditional Latin Mass, and The Liturgy, the Family, and the Crisis of Modernity.
