We need more initiatives like this! Voyage Comics is publishing solid, wholesome Catholic fare for kids that's fun to read. I still like comics and I love them!

What comic books did you love as a child? Chances are good a few favorites just popped into your mind!
Most kids love comic books, and no wonder. With their colorful pictures and exciting plots, comic books are so much fun to read. There are also lots of benefits to reading comic books, and they’re especially helpful for engaging reluctant readers.
At the same time, comic books might not seem like the greatest reading material out there. The plots can be scary or upsetting. The images can be graphic at times. Understandably, parents and teachers might want kids to focus on more wholesome books instead.
Luckily, there’s a whole world out there of character-building comic books. These books actively encourage good moral formation, as they show noble characters who choose to do what’s right even when it’s hard.

So where can you find them? A reliably great source for comic books is Voyage Comics, which focuses on Catholic stories and themes (and they just released #5 in their wildly popular series, Finnian and the Seven Mountains!).
Here are 3 of our favorites from Voyage Comics about real Catholic heroes. Reading them will help your kids dive deeply into the riches of Catholic history and witness what a life with Christ looks like in action!
1THE MISSION OF JOAN OF ARC
