Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, born Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark, was the longest-serving consort of a reigning British monarch before he passed away just shy of 100 years old in April 2021. You likely know him best as the Queen's husband, and if you're a royal watcher, you're probably going to tune in to his funeral to see him laid to rest. One small part of the pomp and circumstance will be Philip's personal Royal Standard, draped over his coffin. It's a flag, essentially, with four sections, each representing some aspect of the Duke's life. Curious about what these symbols stand for? Here's what the flag over Prince Philip's coffin really means.
