I Posted a False News Story!
Yesterday, I posted an article from Aleteia, As Many as 750 Killed in Massacre at Ethiopian Church. I sent the link to an Ethiopian friend, a Deacon in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. Today he sent me this message:
By the way the story you linked is a false one being spread by the TPLF. There was no attack on St. Mary of Axum and no one was massacred there. They created a fake Wikipedia article and got anti-Ethiopians like Martin Plaut to “report” it.
I apologise. Aleteia is a normally reliable source.
