Globalitarianism: Goliath vs. the People

Globalitarianism! A new word, but one my readers can expect to see many more times. I love it!

From The Imaginative Conservative

By Joseph Pearce

This last election has been about Goliath versus the People, and Goliath has done everything possible, including a great deal that is illegal and immoral, to bring down the people.

Goliath is the collective name for the conglomeration of giants that are seeking to force a globalitarian future on the peoples of the world: Global Corporations, International Financial Institutions (the IMF, the World Bank, etc.), the Chinese Communist Party, Social Media Giants (Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc.), Big, i.e. Fake, Media (CNN, MSNBC, etc). On the other side is the populist will of the people.

Goliath is built on systemic Pride and systemic infanticide. The former is dependent on the latter. In worshipping the self as a narcissistic god, Pride sacrifices its own children on the altar it has erected to itself. In the United States, Pride has insisted that everyone must pay taxes to pay for infanticide on demand. Even those who think that killing babies is abhorrent are made to pay for this infanticide. There is no freedom to choose otherwise. This is why Joe Biden called Poland a “totalitarian” regime when Poland’s democratically elected government chose to prevent the systemic culling of disabled infants. In stark contrast, we are unlikely to see Mr. Biden call China a totalitarian regime, even though the Chinese Communist Party has killed tens of millions of its own adults and countless millions of its own children through forced abortions. For Mr. Biden, a loyal servant of Goliath, China is an indispensable ally in the quest for One World globalitarianism.

If this unequal clash between Big Power and the little man sounds daunting, so did the Soviet Empire to Solzhenitsyn. Empires come and go. Goliaths are slain. Or more often they kill themselves through their own inherent unsustainability. But they are always replaced with other empires and other Goliaths. The people are always trodden under the feet of the powerful. It has ever been thus.

All that we need to do is resist evil by living virtuously. We can do this with every dollar we spend. We need to starve Goliath by spending our money, whenever possible, in a way that weakens the giant and does not nourish him. We need to know that every dollar is a vote and that we are casting these votes every day. We need to know that spending money is a moral act which makes the world a better or a worse place. In this way, we can be making the world a better place with every penny we spend. In this way, we can be helping to fight Goliath every day of our lives and loving our neighbours by doing so.

So let’s not believe that this latest rearing of Goliath’s ugly head signals the end of the world. The only end of the world any of us ever need to worry about is the end of the world that happens when we die. It is then that the world will fall away as so much dross and we will be judged by the other-worldly principles that worldly princes despise.

We need to keep our eyes on the finishing line. We need to keep our treasure stored in heaven where it will not perish, and not invest it in the vanity of the world and its temporal, i.e. temporary, power. We need to remember that we are soldiers of Christ in the Church Militant (the Church at War). We also need to remind ourselves and others that the final victory has already been won by the Church Triumphant, the Church in Heaven. If we fight well and courageously in this temporary fight against the temporal power of Goliath, we have nothing to worry about and nothing to lose but our chains!

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
