I'm not surprised. The Cardinal in question is 'Nighty Night, Baby! I love You' Tobin who had his Italian boy toy living with him.
From the Lepanto Institute
By Michael Hichborn
In January of 2017, following his installation Mass as the new Archbishop of Newark, Cardinal Joseph Tobin said, “People in my business should have the smell of the sheep, what it means is you should be close enough to people to know what they are up against.” But for over a year, Cardinal Tobin has closed himself off and remained completely silent about a grave threat to the Faithful under his charge.
For two months, Catholics have been calling upon Cardinal Tobin to shut down WSOU 89.5 FM, a radio station owned and operated by his diocesan university, Seton Hall. Faithful Catholics are furious that a Catholic-owned radio station is broadcasting music that glorifies sadism, violence, gore, and the occult. But despite repeated attempts to ask the Cardinal to take action, he has only offered his silence. And now, new information reveals that Cardinal Tobin was fully briefed on the Satanic nature of WSOU’s broadcasts over a year ago.
The Lepanto Institute became aware of the Satanic music being broadcast by a WSOU in late July of this year. A faithful Catholic who has been trying desperately to find someone who would take notice of the serious issue of a Catholic-owned radio station broadcasting blatantly satanic and violent music, contacted the Lepanto Institute with proof of the problem.
After a couple of weeks of investigating and examining the evidence, the situation was deemed extremely grave and we published a report on the issue a few weeks later.
In response to our report, Seton Hall, which as a diocesan university falls under the direct authority of Cardinal Tobin and the Archdiocese of Newark, issued a boilerplate response attacking our report as “misinformation.” Seton Hall’s response claimed that WSOU:
- “encourages students and listeners to pursue a quest for lifelong learning sustained by Catholic values.”
- “Every song played by WSOU must meet strict … university standards for content.”
- “Everything that airs on WSOU is ‘clean,’ meaning songs are edited to remove offensive lyrics.”
Because of Seton Hall’s complete denial of self-evident truths regarding the satanic and violent nature of its playlist, the Lepanto Institute published a video report with more direct proof of what WSOU is broadcasting. Just this past weekend, WSOU played “Old” by a band called Machine Head, which blasphemously mocked the transubstantiation that takes place at Holy Mass. It also played “Inherit the Earth” by a band called Burn the Priest. That song glorifies the supreme reign of evil and the gathering of “demon clans.” Perhaps most relevant to our current political climate, WSOU broadcast “Faces” by Whitechapel, which calls upon violent protesters to murder, decapitate, and incinerate those against whom they are protesting.
For those requiring further proof of the vile nature of WSOU’s broadcasts, this 15 minute comprehensive video should be all one needs.
But all of this comes almost a year after Cardinal Tobin, Seton Hall, and a multitude of others had been contacted directly about the serious problems with WSOU’s broadcasts.
Beginning in September of 2019, the source who provided the Lepanto Institute with documentary evidence of WSOU’s malignant broadcasts (we’ll call him “Mr. M.) reached out to the Archdiocese of Newark to bring this serious issue to their attention. He was told to contact Seton Hall, which he did, having numerous email exchanges and phone calls with priests, faculty and staff at Seton Hall.
He was rebuffed with each attempt.
On September 21, 2019, this faithful Catholic sent a mass email to the priests of Seton Hall asking for help in putting down WSOU’s spiritually toxic broadcasts. In the email, he wrote:
“I’m writing to make you aware of very serious problems relating to the programming material coming from Seton Hall’s radio station, WSOU. I’d be grateful if you could take a few minutes to review the material below. It’s clear that any Catholic mission at WSOU has long been so profoundly corrupted that the station is highly toxic, spiritually and otherwise, to listeners in the large New York and New Jersey radio market. Broadcasting involving the explicit promotion of the Odinist neo-pagan genocidal slaughter of Christians, a vile and gratuitous account of the slitting of a woman’s throat, and a graphic account of the murder of a woman by repeated blows to her face with a sledge hammer are described in the emails below. Broadcast content from last night shortly before midnight also involved the following lyrics.
… [after providing an example of the kind of lyrics played by the radio station with the willingness to provide much more if requested, he closed the email with the following offer]
If you’re willing and able to help, I’d appreciate it very much if you could give me a call or respond by email.”
He then closed with his name and telephone number.
A reply-all email was sent to “fellow priests” by Msgr. Anthony Ziccardi, Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies for Seton Hall’s School of Theology. Msgr. Ziccardi wrote:
“Dear Fellow Priests,
This is a misrepresentation of the facts. The manager of the WSOU station has investigated the situation closely and has provided a response to the Executive Cabinet. WSOU has not, in fact, aired any song lyrics that advocate violence or that are blasphemous. I will forward you the manager’s report next.
Anthony”
As can be seen from our video report and the new video we posted above, which used recordings from Seton’s Hall’s broadcasts, WSOU had been and still is broadcasting songs that are explicitly blasphemous and that glorify obscene violence and sadism.
Undaunted, Mr. M reached out to several media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, EWTN and the Catholic News Agency. All attempts to find an outlet to report on the spiritual crimes being committed by WSOU were either ignored or deflected. All told he logged the following number of attempts to communicate the problem:
- Dolan and the Archdiocese of New York 67 times,
- Tobin and the Archdiocese of Newark 26 times,
- EWTN 39 times,
- CNA 15 times, and
- Relavent Radio 13 times.
Failing to garner any substantive or satisfactory response to numerous calls and emails to Seton Hall, the Archdiocese and the Archbishop’s office, he wrote to the Apostolic Nuncio on October 4, 2019. Ten months later, having not received a reply from the nuncio, Abp. Christophe Pierre, he sent another letter on the 21st of August of this year, including a reference to recent coverage of the issue by LifeSite news. Four days later, the chargĂ© d’affaires ad interim for the nuncio, Msgr. Dennis Kuruppassery sent a reply. In his letter, he indicated that the initial 44-page letter, which was filled with proof in the form dates, times, lyrics, screenshots and images, had been sent to Cardinal Tobin in October of 2019. What this means is that Cardinal Tobin is sitting in silence, knowing all about the serious issues with WSOU’s broadcasts, and ignoring the pleas of the sheep he claimed three years ago that he should be close enough to “to know what they are up against.”
Shown below is copy of the actual letter sent by the Apostolic Nunciature regarding Cardinal Tobin’s receipt of the full report on the broadcasts of WSOU.
Given his refusal to address the serious problem of outright demon-worship and the glorification of ritual murder being broadcast by a radio station under his direct authority, despite having been sent the information directly from the United States representative of Pope Francis himself, it’s clear that he either didn’t mean what he said, or he has no problem with WSOU broadcasting this filth to those under his charge. Either way, we continue to encourage Faithful Catholics to sign the petition to Cdl. Tobin, demanding that WSOU be shut down, completely.
By their fruits you will know them. Vatican II fruits are rotten.
