The Democrat Party and the Sanctity of Life

It may be that not 'all thinking Democrat people embrace the' Party of Death, but that doesn't excuse their complicity in its anti-life policies!

I do not believe that all thinking Democrat people embrace the “party of death” ideology that their party is endorsing, but their leadership continues to direct them in this way.  This movement is nothing new to this party. Its beginnings can be traced to the abortion legislation of Roe v. Wade and its companion Doe v. Bolton. However, what has been added over the years are issues around infanticide, embryonic stem cell research, and euthanasia.  The common denominator of this Democratic ideology is killing. Somehow the members, especially the leadership of this party, did not get the message “Thou shall not kill.”
Of course, by mentioning one of the ten commandments, I will be accused of bringing religion into a discussion about death generally and abortion specifically. But I’m not. I’m referring to the human rights issue, not the religious aspect. Abortion is an issue that supreme court justices and Democratic politicians got wrong from day one of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton. I agree with Associate Justice Clarence Thomas when he says Roe v. Wade was an incorrect decision.
Science and Reason
The question that was never dealt with or dealt with poorly was when human life begins.  Modern-day science has shown, without a doubt, that a human being begins life at the moment of conception. The justices, pro-abortion politicians, judges, media networks, Hollywood, and educational elites got it wrong in 1973; they have been wrong all these years. This tragic error has resulted in 61 million babies killed. So much for safe, legal, and rare abortions, which was the mantra of Democrat President Bill Clinton.
The Roe v. Wade decision was the beginning of a cascading effect for the Democrat Party that has led to their aura of dehumanizing the sanctity of life. The combined impact of abortion, infanticide, embryonic stem cell research, and euthanasia has negatively impacted the Democrat Party because they have supported these killing activities, or they have supported organizations that engaged in these activities. This party has not recognized that most Americans value life over death, and it has nothing to do with religion.
Incredulity and Hypocrisy
The two states with the largest populations are Democrat-controlled trifecta states. Their actions relative to the value of life speaks louder than words. Their leaders have consistently embraced the directives from their Democratic National Committee (DNC) concerning the sanctity of life issues. If you want to get a glimpse of what an America would look like if a trifecta Democrat government were to be elected, then you only need to look to New York and California.
About a year ago, Democrat governor Andrew Cuomo and fellow NY Democrat legislators applauded the passage of their extreme pro-abortion Reproductive Health Act by lighting up the One World Trade Center in pink. Whatever happened to the 2006 House Democrat Statement of Principles announcement, “We do not celebrate [abortion’s] practice?”  This NY bill kills babies up to birth. Recently, this same governor said that restrictions due to the coronavirus are necessary, saying, “If everything we do saves just one life, I’d be happy.” What?
Recently Planned Parenthood opened 50 “Wellbeing Centers” in Los Angeles public schools. California, like NY, is a trifecta Democrat state. The program is funded by a $10 million-dollar investment from LA County and $6 million from Planned Parenthood. It will offer birth control options, testing, and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, and pregnancy counseling, but not abortion, for an estimated 75,000 teens. Hundreds of teens will be trained as “peer advocates” to help provide information about safe sex and relationships. These Planned Parenthood “Wellbeing” facilities are in Latino neighborhoods.
Planned Parenthood, founded by racist Margaret Sanger, has the support of the Democrat Party and, incredulously, many of this Party’s black members. That support confounds me.  Planned Parenthood is an organization that originated with an idea whose goal was to ensure there would be far fewer Black Americans. In the U.S., the abortion rate for black children is more than three-and-one-half times the rate of white children; the Hispanic abortion rate is about one-and-one-half times that of whites. Planned Parenthood abortion facilities are in highly populated black and Hispanic neighborhoods for a reason. Planned Parenthood kills a disproportionate number of minority children.
Fairness and a Calling-Out
Students For Life of America has requested access to LA public schools to counteract Planned Parenthood infiltration. “Fair is fair,” said SFLA’s Kristan Hawkins. “A pro-choice model in the schools must include life-affirming options, and Students for Life has materials and support to offer.” As of this writing, I have not heard of the status of SFLA’s request for fairness.
There is a growing number of black pastors and activists who have called out Planned Parenthood for being an organization that is executing Sanger’s Negro Project, e.g., Pastor Clenard ChildressAveda King, and Candace Owens.  Pastor Childress says, “The most dangerous place for an African-American is in the womb.”  I wonder how many Martin Luther King, Dr. Ben Carsons, Justice Clarence Thomases, Kobe Bryants, Condi Rices, Maya Angelous, Sojourner Truths, or Oprah Winfreys were there in the 20 million-plus black children killed since Roe v. Wade?  I hope not only black Americans but all Americans are paying attention and reject these misguided Democrat Party leaders’ emphasis on a “culture of death” ideology.
A Binary Decision
Many years ago, then-President Ronald Reagan wrote “Abortion and the Conscience of the Nation.”  He said, “It is essential that every legislator, every doctor, and every citizen recognize that the real issue is whether to affirm and protect the sanctity of all human life, or to embrace a social ethic where some human lives are valued, and others are not. As a nation, we must choose between the ‘sanctity of life’ ethic and the ‘quality of life’ ethic.”
If the sanctity of life is not essential, then life, new or old, is not crucial unless it serves some purpose convenient to one’s current quality of life. The cascading effect of the Democrat support for these death issues has resulted in a pool of disgust that has driven faithful Democrats away.
Our Hope
If Roe v. Wade was a significant event that began the cascade into the culture of death, then maybe a reverse of Roe v. Wade will have a cascading effect on the sanctity of life.  Hopefully, the scientific truth on when life begins and a Supreme Court that holds to this scientific truth will correct this legislation, thereby affording unborn children the same protection every human being is guaranteed, which is the inalienable right to life.
Taking religion out of the discussion, can a person who values life vote for a Democrat?  Is it the sanctity of life or the quality of life? Who lives, and who does not? Will the real deplorable please stand, or will they sit? I hope they rest in quiet reflection and realize they need to take another course of action regarding life. Shaking off the “party of death” label will be very difficult in a party whose social milieu is the “quality of life” secular, not the sanctity of life. If this party continues to embrace this label, then it could be at their political peril.
