Word of the Day: Septuagesima
SEPTUAGESIMA. The seventieth day before Easter, and the third Sunday before Lent. Terminology not used in the Latin Rite since the revision of the liturgy after the Second Vatican Council. N.B. Father is wrong. It never ceased being used by those who refused to accept the deforms of Vatican II and is now used in the Anglican Ordinariate of the Latin Rite as well.

Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Leo XIV as the Vicar of Christ, the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
