Leftists Are Silent About Christian Persecution Because They Want to Maintain the Lie That Christianity Is Harmful.

Another take on the Christophobia of the left.

Leftists are awfully silent when it comes to Christian persecution. While they’re often quick to express concerns about the spread of “Islamophobia”, very few, if any, will ever mention “Christophobia”, despite the fact that Christians are the most persecuted religious group in the world.1
When 290 Christians in Sri Lanka were slaughtered by Islamic terrorists, Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama, among others, chose to refer to the victims as “Easter worshippers” rather than “Christians”. Other outspoken leftists decided to say nothing at all about the attacks.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted up to 14 times about the massacre of 50 Muslims in Christchurch, but for some reason, she can’t think of anything to say when hundreds of Christians are murdered by Muslims during Easter celebrations. Why is that?
Often, leftists want to maintain the narrative that Christianity is the real threat to society. And they want you to think that Christianity is the biggest threat to you because they know Christianity is the biggest threat to the advancement of their Marxist ideology.
Christianity makes men and women strong, responsible, and independent. It builds strong marriages and forms strong families. Christianity builds strong communities which are a vital part of any strong nation.
Christianity is unifying. It unites people of different backgrounds, cultures, genders, and ethnicities (Gal. 3:27). Leftism, on the other hand, thrives on social division. The ideology itself depends on class warfare. Everything, in the eyes of the leftist, is viewed through the lens of ‘oppressed and oppressor.’ That’s why they’re obsessed with pitting black against white, woman against man, child against parent, gay against straight, fat against thin, poor against rich, and so on, and so on.
But, as Jesus said, a nation divided cannot survive. “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand” (Matt. 12:25). Don’t buy the leftist narrative of division. All you’ll get in return is misery. If a nation is to succeed and the people are to prosper, then that success and prosperity depends entirely upon the promotion of, and adherence to, Christian principles, which can perhaps best be summed up by Jesus’ command to love the true God, love your neighbour, and love your enemy also (Matt. 5:43-48).

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
